Be part of a ground-breaking research project to measure the impact of place branding

Calling all place brand, destination marketing, and investment promotion organisations that want to be part of some ground-breaking research and help find the holy grail of place branding!  

Our friends at City Nation Place are working with Bloom Consulting on a global research project that will help work out the economic impact of a place brand strategy.   

“Today, there are little to no studies that demonstrate the correlation between perceptions – about countries, regions, cities, and so on – and economic and social performance,” highlights Jose Torres, CEO of Bloom Consulting and lead on the research study. “There are some academic approaches in a few papers, but never something that deep[…] It’s time to develop a global research project to address these aims.”  

With the combined efforts of companies across Africa, this research team wants to collate and analyse data from the continent. The data they will collect will reflect statistics over time and identify algorithms, conclusively demonstrating the link between place branding and the growth of the economy of a particular area.   

These partners need your help to make this happen. There is no cost involved; data will not be shared outside of the project.
