“As lockdown set in, Rustic Manor Guest House was completely shut down. For the whole of April and May we had not one single guest as we were not allowed!” says Jade Calmeyer, Owner of Rustic Manor Guest House.
“Caroline my House Manager and I cleaned all the corners of the property, gardened and did plenty of spring cleaning. Rustic Manor was sparkling and we were ready for the next guests to arrive. But they never did. And we waited and waited.
“Finally, I got a call, but it was not from a potential guest but from my neighbour. She had decided to relocate back to the UK and wanted to sell her house and thought she would offer it to us first. So we went down to her house and met her, had a look at her exquisite house and fell in love. Long story short, Rustic Manor is expanding!”
Jade explains that they are now looking at about five more rooms to add on, with a spacious garden and pool, kitchen and dining area and ultra-comfortable living spaces for new guests.
“We also have more room to launch our summer retreat programs where guest can enjoy yoga classes, cooking classes, health and wellness talks and much more! Although these have been very uncertain times, we are excited for what lies ahead,” she concludes.
