How did you fall in love with travelling?

How do you not, I am yet to meet a person who does not want to travel. From the time when I would see pictures of places in magazines as a child, I knew I would travel a ton when I grew up.

What kind of traveller are you?

I am extremely detailed when it comes to the admin particulars. Regardless of the destination, I want to experience life the way the locals do.  I would not box myself as a specific type of traveller but whether I travel for work or leisure I want to come back from travel exposed and improved in one way or the other. I hardly take photos when I travel, I get so plunged in the experiences!

What’s your travel philosophy?

The only expectation you should have for travel is ticking off the box of having being there, wing the rest.  I have found that when I travel with expectation, I go wanting to experience feelings I may not want.  Go there to explore and go there neutral.

What are your top travel essentials?

My passport, insurance and  travel friendly hair

Where was your most memorable trip?

All my trips are memorable, crazy, fun, epic, my personality guarantees that but my top three unforgettable destinations (it is even tough narrowing it to 3) but here goes nothing  – Paris, Rwanda and Mauritius.

How has travelling changed your life?

It has helped me unchain my thought process, through exposure of how others experience their part of the world. Travelling is the best way to experience culture and inevitably lifestlye, customs and values.

When we can start travelling again, where would you go?

Wow! Chicago, Greece, Ibiza, Tokyo, DURBAN!!!! – shall I stop now?

Best travel advice you can share?

Always take you essentials in a carry on luggage, JUST IN CASE!
