WTM Africa: Where to stay and how to get around

Our guide to getting you there and back…

So, you’ve got your ticket to Africa Travel Week 2022. But what about a place to stay, and how best to get around Cape Town?

If you haven’t ticked all the logistical boxes on your trade show to-do list, here are our recommendations for local hotels and transport nodes:

Suggested hotels for WTM Africa:

Southern Sun Cape Sun

Location: 23 Strand St, Cape Town City Centre

Distance from the CTICC: 1.7 km

Situated in the heart of the Mother City, this hotel has earned a stellar reputation by delegates needing quick and easy access to the CTICC. The location is excellent, and the views are tough to beat: Table Mountain, Robben Island, or Table Bay.

If you need to hire your own car, there are plenty of options located on arrival at Cape Town International Airport. Local car companies to contact directly and in advance include:

Suggested Flights:

There are multiple local and international flights in and out of Cape Town International Airport, South Africa’s newest airline, LIFT, recently partnered with WTM Africa 2022, which means invited exhibitors and attendees will receive a 10% discount when booking their flights.
