The dry May to October winter season is generally seen as the best time to visit Zimbabwe for game-viewing. The best time to visit Victoria Falls is from February to May, directly after the region’s summer rains, when you will see the world’s largest sheet of falling water flowing at its greatest volume. Summer is hot, with spectacular thunder showers – and winter is mild.

Zimbabwe is visa-free for South Africans with a valid passport for a stay up to 90 days.
All visitors to Zimbabwe need to present a valid passport, return transportation ticket, sufficient funds and at least three blank visa pages for entry and exit stamps. Passports need to be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the country.
Check with your doctor with regards to malaria medication as Zimbabwe is a malaria area.
