WTM Africa is proud to share the inspiring story of our recent CSI project—a unique collaboration that transformed discarded tennis balls into beautiful loyalty pins while empowering local youth and communities.

In this community-driven initiative, WTM Africa funded a project that brought together local young creatives, Uthando, and Amazeballs. Recognizing the potential in what many would consider waste, Amazeballs donated tennis balls that would have otherwise ended up in landfill. With guidance and support from local community leaders, youth creatively repurposed these tennis balls by carefully cutting them into the iconic shape of Africa. The result? Stunning loyalty pins that symbolize unity, resourcefulness, and cultural pride.
This project is more than just an art initiative—it represents WTM Africa’s commitment to supporting local businesses, providing educational opportunities for young people, and promoting sustainable practices. By reimagining waste as a valuable resource, our partners at Uthando and Amazeballs are championing an important message: innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand, creating beauty and opportunity from materials that might otherwise be discarded.

The impact of this initiative has far exceeded the creation of unique loyalty pins. It has sparked interest and inspired further projects aimed at reducing waste, driving community engagement, and nurturing the creativity of youth across the region.
