DIAMOND EXPERIENCE TOUR

The only of its kind in Cape Town, the Cape Town Diamond Museum pays tribute to the world’s most precious gem, the diamond. A gift from Shimansky to the City of Cape Town, it is a non-profit organisation dedicated to educating, and creating an appreciation for the world’s oldest and most beautiful gem.

We have two unique venues and booking is essential!

Our tour offering includes:

  • Complimentary South African wine on arrival or beverage of choice
  • 45 min experience guided tour of the history of South African diamonds and mining.
  • Guests can explore over 3000 signature diamond and tanzanite jewellery creations
  • Guests have the opportunity to browse in a very secure and private environment.

The Shimansky Rockwell Diamond Experience

The Shimansky Rockwell Diamond Experience is conveniently accessible situated in the heart of Cape Town, as bus parking is outside our premises and can accommodate a very luxury, private and intimate experience.

Our tour offering includes:

  • Complimentary South African wine on arrival
  • 45 min experience tour offered in a variety of languages
  • Guests can explore over 3000 signature diamond and tanzanite jewellery creations
  • Guests have the opportunity to browse in a very secure and private environment.

Additional service offerings for groups up to 12 people:

  • Secret chamber room viewing (a MUST see)
  • Unique Gin & Wine Tasting Experience (R100 pp; 48-hour booking prior to visit).
  • Polish a Diamond experience R1500 pp, includes polishing inside the factory, a photo will be provided of the experience as well as a letter of congrats to your clients. Preferable any time after 2pm in the afternoon, Saturdays and Sundays are also an option anytime 9am – 5pm.

Payments need to be made upfront for the above mentioned. No refund policy and cancellation will need to take place 24 hour prior please.
