TBO.COM announcement at WTM Africa

‘It’s time for Africa’ – remarks TBO.COM with ambitious plans to invest with new products in the continent

TBO.COM, the global travel distribution platform participating at the WTM Africa for the first time, has announced a series of products and initiatives which will potentially result in doubling its business in Africa in the coming year. Connecting a 100,000+ Travel Agents with 1 million+ Travel Suppliers in over 100+ countries globally, the platform is looking at launching its new brands –, an OTA dedicated to religious tourism and –  a SAAS based platform focused on corporates to manage their travel globally in the coming months.

Sameh Foaud, Commercial Director MEA commented ‘ We truly believe Travel & Tourism in Africa is on the verge of tremendous growth and we are gearing up adequate resources to be able to achieve a leadership position by 2025. Our Sales on ground combined with our marketing power will see us participate in roadshows in key markets reaching out to new partners who can benefit from our one-stop-shop platform for all travel needs. Additionally, with Saudi Arabia opening up quickly for both religious and leisure travel, we have a great brand in Zamzam to cater to this segment. Paxes will be great addition to our TMC partners to automate and digitalize corporate travel.

With global headquarters in Dubai and employees across the region including an office in Johannesburg, the company is committed to leverage technology to simplifying travel and enabling growth of its partners

Sameh will be on the Future Stage on April 5 at 11.30am to share data and trends on Africa and how TBO is perfectly geared to leverage the potential
