So, you’re all set for Africa Travel Week at the CTICC in our Host City of Cape Town. But what do you need to get into the venue?
To streamline your experience, we’ve outlined everything for you below. Have a read through, and if you still have a few questions, contact the team directly here.
What do I need to enter?
Firstly, admission is for pre-registered attendees only, so please ensure you’ve completed this initial step. If you haven’t, do it here.
Secondly, you’ll need proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours. Alternatively, a negative rapid antigen test taken within the previous 24 hours.
Those who are unable to present proof must do a PCR or rapid antigen test at the Main Foyer to gain entry.
What about Covid-protocols?
Standard Covid-19 protocols will be adhered to throughout the show. This means compulsory wearing of face masks, regular hand sanitising, and maintaining a physical distance of 1.5 meters. Your temperature will also be taken on arrival at the CTICC.
A Covid-19 pre-screening is necessary for entry. You can do so digitally by scanning this QR code to confirm your daily health status. If you’re suffering from any symptoms associated with Covid-19 or have been in close contact with an individual confirmed as ‘positive’, please refrain from attending.
What if I forget my badge?
If you misplace or accidentally damage your e-badge, simply request a new printout at the registration area to gain entry. If you’re short on time, we strongly advise printing out your badge before the event to avoid delays.
Remember, e-badges are strictly non-transferable and only valid for the person whose name is
printed on it, on the days shown. You may also be asked to validate yours with a personal identification document (ID card or passport).
By using your WTM Africa e-badge you agree to observe the event admission policy. For more
information visit the official site for WTM Africa here.
