“We recently curated a local luxury trip for South African clients who would normally have been overseas were it not for travel restrictions caused by Covid-19,” says Melissa.
“We booked them into Morukuru Beach Lodge at De Hoop for a couple of nights and they were blown away by the experience. Lo and behold the week after they stayed there, it was voted by Conde Nast Traveller’s 2020 Readers Choice Award as the Best Resort in South Africa and 8th in the world.
“Needless to say our clients have subsequently rebooked again, as have their friends. Word of mouth, plus fabulous reviews are the best form of marketing. It was lovely to get another 5-star Tripadvisor review.”
