RECAP: #INTHEKNOW part 2

On Thursday, 28 May, we kicked off part 2 of our #INTHEKNOW virtual event series where industry players came together to share ideas and problem-solve around the topic of marketing during the current travel restrictions.

In this session hosted by Natalia Rosa from Big Ambitions, we discussed brands that were making an impact on us during lockdown and identified what they were doing to win over their audience. We also touched on what we could do now to stand out from the crowd as we move out of survival mode and eventually hit level 1.

As business owners and marketing creatives, we need to start thinking about what we will be doing to cut through the noise once travel returns and everyone is shouting for a piece of the action. But overall, one thing remains clear: brand trust is more important than ever. And transparent communication is essential to maintaining trust.

Feeling bombarded with long-winded, panel-style webinars, we launched these interactive, 40-minute virtual events because we wanted to have more inclusion. We wanted to get everyone in the industry in one room, actively problem-solving together and driving the conversation forward.

If you’d like to get #INTHKNOW with us, keep an eye on your inbox for our Wednesday mailers announcing June 2020 dates.

Until then, save your spot here in our next webinar hosted by Springnest and Eco Africa Digital, which continues our discussion on marketing with a special focus on social media.
