Lance Nkwe
Head of Corporate Marketing at Flight Centre Travel Group

With over 7 years’ travel industry experience in both B2C and B2B marketing, Lance has a keen understanding of the traveller buying cycle, which he is able to flawlessly translate into tangible actions and successful marketing campaigns. As leader of the corporate marketing team at the Flight Centre Travel Group in South Africa, Lance works closely with the company’s global executive teams. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Science with a double major in marketing and management.

Meg Ten Eyck
CEO of EveryQueer

Meg’s work involves creating content, marketing campaigns, and conducting professional development training for brands working with the LGBTQ community. Meg has been cited in two consecutive UNWTO Reports on LGBTQ Tourism as leading experts and in the ETC’s Report on LGBTQ Tourism. Meg is regularly a featured speaker and subject matter expert at travel conferences worldwide. In 2019, Meg was selected as the International Woman of the Year for Facebook’s initiative with Girl Gone International for her work in LGBTQ inclusive travel.

Phakamile Hlazo
Founder and Managing Director: Zulu Nomad

Phaka is a seasoned strategist, and a hands-on operational lead with vast experience in the implementation of strategic change initiatives in Africa, Europe and Asia. The founder of Zulu Nomad, a digital services business servicing the tourism industry, Phaka has over four years operational presence in the African travel market, and over seven years in change management and digital transformation consultation. Phaka believes that technology innovation is a necessary enabler to true transformation and inclusion in the tourism sector, as such in 2019, Zulu Nomad launched the inaugural Africa Travel Hackathon.
